The company, we are working for, is a leading London taxi firm. It is the first company in the world to develop a 'real-time' booking of taxis on the Internet. This corporation has brought the 300-year-old taxi industry right up to date by enabling its corporate customers to book a cab journey on the Internet in 'real-time', eliminating the need to phone the Call Center.

 

This central London's largest black taxi firm has an number of IT systems (for Cab drivers, Call center, on-line reservation etc.) and our role is to develop a new generation of these systems. The first task is rewrite the old parts of the system with modern technologies and subsequently add new features and modules. We started our collaboration with the development of some basic parts of the global system and gradually we will assume more responsibilities in the development of the new system.

 

The currently outsourced capacity of 24 hours per week is planned to be extended to 40 hours per week and in the near feature with the aim of extending our collaboration beyond the current one senior developer. We are hoping to grow our collaboration, participating in more projects of this largest taxi firm in the capital of Britain in the future.
